EUNIC London and Open City Doc were proud to present a season of European new documentaries at Picture House Central in 2015 and 2016.
The series launched with films from Romania, Belgium and Estonia and continued in 2016 with films from Lithuania, Hungary, Italy and Spain. New European Documentary reflects the health and vibrancy of documentary cinema from Lisbon to Tallinn and bring to the screen films that use altogether different techniques and styles to those audiences are used to seeing. Each screening was followed by a Q&A.
Based at UCL, Open City Docs is where the next generation of filmmaker is nurtured and celebrated, delivering film screenings and live events, training programmes and projects throughout the year including Open City Docs Fest, and Open City Docs School.
