EUROLIS was born over 12 years ago when librarians of the European Cultural Institutes based in London decided to work together and promote European languages in the UK in association with CILIP. They meet every other month and their main activities centre on:
One annual Seminar on a chosen topic, aimed at all the librarians in the UK.
Eurotoolbox: A special collection of literature for children and youths in French, English, German, Italian, Polish, Portuguese and Spanish, put together by the respective European Institutes’ librarians, is offered to acquisition librarians who are interested in promoting European languages to young people. The collection is a FREE loan for professional librarians to borrow for two weeks or more at a time.
