Festival Baltic Art Form with Latvijas Koncerti and Latvia 100 present an exciting premiere featuring a multi international cast of contemporary performers and musicians to fringe audiences at the Pleasance theatres London abode on Monday 3rd September.
Choreographer Kirill Burlov (previously Rambert Dance) lends his contemporary dance expertise and lifelong classical ballet training to artistically direct this poignant sequence, a contemporary spin on ancient and traditional Latvian folk heritage and pagan ritualistic dance. Burlov succeeds in moving his audience beyond the aesthetics of movement to unveiling their symbolic values.
