#SharedEurope – Architecture talks: Border

Internationally renowned Dutch architect Florian Idenburg moderates a series of architecture lectures in the United Kingdom in 2019. The overarching theme is ‘HOME: Questioning post-Brexit relationships’. The lectures are organised in collaboration with the Architecture Association and with financial support of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in the United Kingdom.

‘Border’, the second talk in this series, is set for Monday 11 February 2019 at the Architecture Association in London. How can a border, “a space of friction, change, conflict and negotiation”, become an opportunity to design new spaces of change and exchange? And can we inhabit the border?

Dutch spatial planner, architect, and researcher Jan Willem Petersen joins this conversation.

A third talks in this series, with the title Exodus, is to take place at the Architecture Association on 4 March.

For more details, please see the website of the Architecture Association.

Attendance is free and based on a first-come, first-served basis.
