Tune into The Royal Institute of British Architects’ (RIBA) online lecture on the Danish architecture practice 3XN. They will present some of the practice’s innovative designs. 3XN is known for establishing innovative buildings and projects by combining research and knowledge from the social sciences with design and architectural skills. Among recent projects is the Olympic House (2019) – The International Olympic Committee headquarters in Lausanne, which is one of the most sustainable office buildings in the world.
3XN is dedicated to research into circular, behavioural and digital design and in 2007 they founded a sister company, GXN, that focuses only on research. In this lecture we will meet behavioural specialist and Head of Operations Susan Carruth and Architect and Senior Partner Audun Opdal who will show us how the research of GXN is used in order to create the fascinating architectural work of 3XN.
