Remote London by Rimini Protokoll

REMOTE LONDON by Rimini Protokoll (Kaegi/Karrenbauer) is part of an international phenomenon staged all over the world – from Moscow to New York, Milan to Bangalore.

Through the playful guidance of a computer-generated voice, people who have never met before come together to explore the city from the perspective of artificial intelligence. GPS takes centre stage and transforms London into a living playing field.

Cult pioneer of documentary theatre, Rimini Protokoll, is an internationally celebrated collective founded by Helgard Haug, Stefan Kaegi and Daniel Wetzel from Switzerland and Germany. Awards include the Silver Lion of the Biennale for Performing Arts in Venice in 2011 and the Swiss Grand Prix of Theatre in 2015.

REMOTE LONDON is presented as part of Theatre of Europe and Chelsea Theatre in Rep and is supported by Arts Council England, Goethe-Institut London, Pro Helvetia, the Swiss Culture Fund UK, EUNIC London and the European Commission Representation in the UK.
