As part of his Nordic Literature Project, The Mayor of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea Councillor Robert Freeman is hosting the following events:
– ‘An evening with Janne Teller’ in conversation with novelist and literary critic Paul Binding: The Danish author will be talking about her life’s work and her award-winning novel, Nothing.
– A Seminar led by Martin Widmark: The Swedish author will talk about his internationally recognised programme to encourage literacy and reading amongst children.
– A discussion looking at the question, Why would an anti-authoritarian, funny, Danish cartoonist’s picture book be perfect for UK homes and classrooms?
