Exploring a New Dimension
The National Gallery, in association with the Institut français, presents an international academic conference to coincide with the Gallery’s exhibition, Monet & Architecture.
Day one opens with a lecture by André Dombrowski (University of Pennsylvania) on the representation of the “instant” in Monet’s depictions of architecture and modern infrastructure. Day two will explore the theme of the exhibition further enhancing or challenging its premises.
