Petworth Festival celebrates their 40th anniversary and invites you to a series of stunning ‘world music’ performances.
The first of two concerts in the festival features the alternative folk band Merope, a mesmerising combination of Lithuanian, French and Belgian musicians. Together they share a unique chemistry as they combine traditional Lithuanian melodies with their own compositions – elegant textures, harmonies and polyrhythms creating an ethereal atmosphere.
