One of the most distinguished African filmmakers, Mahamat-Saleh Haroun’s international recognition came with his third feature Daratt (Dry Season), which won the Special Jury Prize at the 2006 Venice Film Festival, while A Screaming Man won the Jury Prize in Cannes 2010. On the occasion of the release of his latest film A Season in France, Mahamat-Saleh Haroun will run a masterclass, led by Simon Field (Producer and former director of the Rotterdam Film Festival).
