Pioneer of Black British cinema Ngozi Onwurah’s body of work weaves autobiographical narrative with astute socio-political observation. The first Black British woman filmmaker to have a feature film released in UK cinemas, this is a celebration of Ngozi’s legacy, with a screening of rare works followed by a panel discussion.

- Coffee Coloured Children, 1988, 15 mins. A visceral look at growing up mixed-race in 1980s England.
- Flight Of The Swan, 1992, 12 mins. A young black girl dreams of performing as a lead ballerina.
