Institut Français de Royaume-Uni presents a screening of Jackie, the 2016 biopic of Jacqueline Onassis, directed by Pablo Larraín, featuring Natalie Portman, Peter Sarsgaard, and Greta Gerwig.
Set in the days immediately following the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, Jackie is a searing and intimate portrait of one of the most important and tragic moments in American history, seen through the eyes of the iconic First Lady (Natalie Portman).
The screening on 8 February will be preceded by an on stage conversation with Academy Award nominee for Best Costume Design Madeline Fontaine and Kinvara Balfour, as a part of Fashion & Cinema, a series of events, on-stage conversations, and screenings exploring the relationship between fashion and cinema.
