Cyprus Short Film Day is an annual event celebrating Cypriot short film in London, held under the auspices of the Cypriot High Commissioner, Mr. Euripides L. Evriviades.
Behaviours, habits, gestures, prejudices, beliefs and norms that have traditionally been linked to masculinity are explored and challenged in this year’s selection of award- winning short films by Cypriot filmmakers and UK-born filmmakers of Cypriot origin. The screening is followed by a Q&A with the filmmakers.
The event is organised by the Cyprus High Commission UK – Cultural Section and sponsored by the Cultural Services of the Cypriot Ministry of Education and Culture.
