A talk about Baroque Castles and Theatres in the Czech Republic
The Czech Republic has managed to keep a plenty of historic theatres and their unique equipment alive. To celebrate this exploit, The Friends of Czech Heritage in collaboration with the Embassy of Czech Republic are organising a talk about the theatres in Český Krumlov, Litomyšl, Valtice, Kačina, Mnichovo Hradiště and Žleby, in attendance of the founder of CORA (Centre for the Preservation and Restoration of Architecture, Daniel Spicka. After explaining how he restored and documented a lot of theatres in Bohemia and Moravia, he will present his latest project which consist in the reconstruction of the Baroque Theatre in Valtice.
