IT TAKES THOUSANDS OF BRICKS TO BUILD A WALL…
Two young Swiss designers DAVID SUTER & RAFAYEL SDANEWITSCH who moved to East London, have engaged with the history and current situation in and around Brick Lane, gaining an insight into how different cultures and professions have contributed to the development of the area and the city as a whole.
The current political situation in the UK and Europe poses the question as to whether governments and civil societies should do more to improve the public’s attitude towards immigrants in order to allow us to enjoy the rich multicultural community we now experience.
