This international conference looks at the Alps and its cultural impact on German-speaking Europe. It includes contributions covering a wide range of media, such as prose fiction, poetry, film, philosophical investigation and photography. Topics range from tourism and architecture to climate change and natural catastrophes, human fragility and resilience.
