Join Velvet 4 Film on 9th July at 2.30pm for the first in a series of screenings programmed for families, parents, kids and adults who never grew up and enjoy Czech & Slovak films.
The first film will be cult Czech animated film Mach a Šebestová, about two pupils who go on adventures with their dog Jonatán and magical phone handle.
Bring your friends, kids and family over for an afternoon of friendly, communal atmosphere. There will be free tea & coffee from 2.30pm so you can meet fellow parents and members of the community. The film will start at 3pm. There will also be an arts activity ready for kids while you wait.
The screening takes place in the wonderful Old Newham Library (also known as Rabbits Road Institute) in Newham, north-east London, easily accessible by overground (Woodgrange Park) and TfL rail (Manor Park).
Entry fee is £5 / £3 (for under 15s)
