Sara Torres’ latest poetry book, Phantasmagoria, published in January by La bella Varsovia, is a poetic journey around the uncertain boundaries between the ideas of presence and absence, remembering and forgeting. Examining the processes through which we experience and create ‘reality’, Phantasmagoria explores an understanding of the body as ‘embodied memory’. The official presentation of the book in London will include a performance created in collaboration with artist Marta Velasco Velasco. The soundscape which accompanies the performace has been designed by Ana Quiroga.
