The Cyprus High Commission cordially invites you to the opening of the Cyprus Cinema series with a screening of the award-winning feature film Boy on the Bridge by Petros Charalambous.
The screening will be followed by Q&A with the protagonist Andreas Tselepos and a drinks reception.
The Cyprus Cinema Series is a new programme organised by the Cultural Section of the Cyprus High Commission, under the auspices of his excellency the High Commissioner of Cyprus, Mr. Euripides L. Evriviades.
Boy on the Bridge synopsis:
In a seemingly idyllic Cypriot village, twelve-year-old Socrates’ careless summer days of riding his bike and tantalizing the local residents come to an abrupt end when he finds himself at the center of a murder investigation, which exposes a dark family secret and changes his life forever.
