Institut Ramon Llull joins EUNIC London

We are delighted to announce that the Institut Ramon Llull has joined EUNIC London as our new associate member. The signing ceremony took place on Tuesday 7th of June at the Romanian Cultural Institute in London.

The agreement was signed by Marc Duenas IRL representative in the UK and Mathias Rambaud (Attaché for Books & Ideas, Head of the Book Department, Institut français du Royaume-Uni), Marios Psaras (Cultural Counsellor, Cyprus High Commission), and Ūla Tornau (Cultural Attaché, Embassy of Lithuania) of the EUNIC Presidency team. Institut Ramon Llull ‘s application to become an associate EUNIC member was supported by the Cervantes Institute, represented here by Juan Blas Delgado (Head of Culture).

The Institut Ramon Llull is a public body founded with the purpose of promoting Catalan culture abroad.  As an associate member, the Institut Ramon Llull can now fully participate in all EUNIC London projects, such as In Short Europe film festival, European Writers, Europe Readr Podcast, EUNICAST, Imagining futures, Books for thought… Our common mission will be to promote our shared European values and continue to encourage productive dialogue and cultural exchange.
