In the long-awaited follow-up to his debut Les Combattants, writer-director Thomas Cailley offers a visionary flight of imagination on the relation between humans, animals and nature, with a dazzlingly poetic use of effects, and superb performances from Romain Duris and Paul Kircher. A strange condition sweeps the world, as people begin sprouting wings, scales, tentacles… Meanwhile a father and son travel south to confront their own trauma.
