  Taking up the brutalities of the Bosnian conflict, ethnic clashes, as well as outbreaks of nationalism and intolerance, the play is compelling piece on the phenomenon of war. In preparation for Carmen Funebre, members of the theatre company met refugees from the former Yugoslavia.
