Pianist Ismaël Margain and violinist Louisa Staples were not twenty years old when they distinguished themselves at the Long-Thibaud-Crespin International Competition in 2011 and 2018. Their talent, musicality and maturity unite them around a repertoire they particularly cherish. To celebrate Clara Schumann’s 200th birthday they imagined a recital combining masterpieces from German romanticism: compositions from the Schumann couple and their friend Brahms.
