A celebration of European artists
The Actors Centre, in association with Voila! Europe presents A Piece of the Continent, a festival of multilingual, multicultural, and multidisciplinary performance. In response to the UK’s exit from the European Union, the festival will be a celebration affirming the immense value of cross-cultural exchange and cooperation.
The programme of 9 productions illustrates the wide variety of themes being explored by European artists – which aren’t so different from the topics everyone’s talking about in the UK! The festival goes beyond national politics, showcasing resilience, heroism, and the power of artists to speak up for change.
With puppetry, mask, physical theatre, live microcinema, music, horror, and comedy, we are proud to feature the best of European theatre right here in the heart of London.
