Postcards from Vienna – A Musical Journey from Brahms to Schönberg

ACF is pleased to announce that they have teamed up with Greengage Ventures to make this unique musical journey exclusively available to ACF followers – for free over a period of four weeks.

Join ACF and explore a special series of four mini-documentaries and recitals on Brahms, Mahler, Haydn and Schönberg, filmed at the ACF London Salon. It’s like going to four private concerts, all with your very own expert guide: orchestral conductor Jonathan Berman.

Postcards From Vienna is designed for anyone who would like to learn something new about some of the most prominent composers in history.

The series steers clear of music terminology and focuses on what matters: listening and watching closely, enjoying the music and seeing brilliant artists perform.

How it works: Every Wednesday over the 4-week period (10. February — 10. March), you will receive via e-mail exclusive access to a new episode or ‘postcard’ of this 4-part series to watch at a time that suits you.

Just register anytime on our website for tickets to join and receive free access to the videos.

Don’t worry, if you miss an episode – they will be available to watch back after release until the 10th of March 2021.

Each episode consists of a short talk followed by a recital. Each one is roughly 30 minutes long.

Musical programme & release schedule:

10 February: Postcard 1 on Johannes Brahms
17 February: Postcard 2 on Gustav Mahler
24 February: Postcard 3 on Joseph Haydn
3 March: Postcard 4 on Arnold Schönberg
