Following the UK release of the film “Neruda” by Pablo Larraín, the Instituto Cervantes and the Association of Cultural Attaches of Latin America, Spain and Portugal (ACALASP) presents a bilingual reading of poems by the great poet and Nobel Prize winner.
Before that reading, the hispanist, writer and translator Adam Feinstein will offer an introduction. Feinstein’s biography Pablo Neruda: A passion for life (Bloomsbury 2004, 2013) was described by Harold Pinter as a “masterpiece”. Also in 2013, Feinstein launched Cantalao, a bi-annual magazine dedicated to the life and work of legendary poet. Feinstein has also translated the work of Lorca, Benedetti and other authors.
