Sadler’s Wells Theater hosts once more the Flamenco Festival in London. This time, it presents some of the leading figures of contemporary flamenco language: Israel Galván, Eva Yerbabuena, Mercedes Ruiz, Manuel Liñán, Rocío Márquez, Santiago Lara and the already traditional Gala Flamenca, that gathers a magnificent selection of new and renowned talents.
The festival features among the many talents that London can see in February: Israel Galván, the dance maverick who is known for reinventing the craft, opens the festival with his unmissable new show, FLA.CO.MEN; the award-winning Eva Yerbabuena returns to delight London audiences in this festival highlight, the UK premiere of Apariencias; Mercedes Ruiz, one of the most renowned dancers of Jerez performs in a declaration of love to the audience; choreographer and multi award-winning dancer Manuel Liñán voyages back to memories of childhood; and the art of flamenco tradition is reinvented by singer Rocío Márquez.
