HGO and the Italian Cultural Institute in London are pleased to mark the centenary of Luigi Illica and Ruggero Leoncavallo’s deaths with an event featuring the legendary rivalry between “La Bohème” (1896) composed by Giacomo Puccini to a libretto by Giuseppe Giacosa and Illica, and the homonymous opera (1897) written and composed by Leoncavallo.
The event will include the presentation of HGO’s production of Puccini’s La Bohème, on stage from 8 to 17 November 2019 at Jacksons Lane Theatre (Highgate, London).
