The Hellenic Centre’s New Year’s Celebration with live music, vasilopitta and wine is dedicated to well remembered songs from composers like Mimis Plessas, Manos Hadjidakis, Stavros Kougioumtzis, Apostolos Kaldaras, Vasilis Dimitriou, Mikis Theodorakis and Giorgos Zabetas.
The selection is a medley of melodies and poetry that will be performed by distinguished singers Fanis Mezinis and Elena Hadjiafxendi. Musicians Pavlos Carvalho (cello/bouzouki), Andreas Papapetrou (piano/accordion, Giannis Photiades (percussions); Scenography Andreas Skourtis.
