Why not go for a walk in East Village’s Victoria Park and explore Danish artist Jeppe Hein’s Mirror Labyrinth? Hein designed the artwork to commemorate the London 2012 Olympic Games. The sculpture consists of multiple mirrored steel columns arranged in concentric circles, encouraging visitors to step inside the labyrinth and enjoy the many reflections that can easily confuse and disorientate the viewer. The internationally acclaimed artist Jeppe Hein lives in Berlin. He is a former assistant of Danish-Icelandic artist Olafur Eliasson and he is known for his architectural sculptures and their ability to create rooms within the existing room.
