The works of young Belgian artist Héloïse Rouard explore a deep desire to use photography as a medium of introspection to deal with her anxieties and fears. She photographs family members and close friends, seeing this as a means of analysing the deep bonds in her relationships.
These monochrome works from 2014 find their inspiration from the link between emotions and physical sensations, the meaning we tirelessly strive to give to everything as well as in our fear of emptiness and absence.
