Constantin Brâncuși: The British Connection

The Romanian-born sculptor Constantin Brâncuși (1876-1957) is regarded as one of the most influential artist of the 20th century. Celebrating the 4th centenary of his birth, the Romanian Cultural Institute revisits his legacy in the company of some of his most ardent British admirers.

Guest speakers: Sanda Miller, Eric Shanes, Jonathan Vernon and Bruno Wollheim. Preceded by the screening of BBC2’s ‘Tony Cragg on Constantin Brancusi’ (1992, producer: Bruno Wollheim; director: Christopher Swayne).
