CLIMATE FICTION FESTIVAL

Climate Fiction or cli fi is a new trend in international literature that takes the climate crisis seriously. Mystery, thrillers, science fiction, poetry, the social novel and narrative nonfiction – cli fi is literature with attitude and an open approach to the most important challenge of our time.

The Climate Fiction Festival 2020 in Berlin is the first multi-day literary festival worldwide with a sole focus on the climate crisis and literature. For the first edition, we’ve invited writers and experts from Austria, Switzerland, Denmark, Germany, Turkey, the UK and the USA to join us for a series of exciting panels at the Literaturhaus Berlin and virtually.

Joining their international peers will be British and UK based experts and authors Axel GoodbodyMaggie Gee and Naomi Booth.

The Goethe-Institut London is pleased to partner on this programme with Literaturhaus Berlin and Climate Cultures network berlin.

All panels will be streamed on the YouTube channel of Literaturhaus Berlin.
The access to the YouTube channel can be found here.
