The programme of this edition includes the debut of Clara Roquet, “Libertad” was the only Spanish film selected at Cannes 2021, the return of the most personal Agusti Villaronga, or “Transoceanic”, directed by Meritxell Colell and Lucia Vasallo. The festival dedicates its own space to the creations of two main filmmakers of the New Catalan Cinema: Clara Roquet and Meritxell Colell. Another section of the festival is dedicated to short films and presents an extensive selection of works that have been selected and awarded at Cannes, IFFR Rotterdam, New York Film Festival, Vienna Shorts, Málaga, Huesca and AFI Fest.
