As part of the film festival being organised to mark the centenary of the founding of the School of Slavonic and East European Studies (SSEES), University College London, Béla Tarr’s Damnation will be screened on the 1st of December 2015.
The film will be screened with English-language subtitles in the new auditorium of the Bloomsbury Theatre and will be introduced by academic specialists who will place the film being shown in its cultural, historical, and cinematic context.
Attendance is free of charge. Tickets will be issued on a first-come-first-serve basis at the Bloomsbury Theatre box-office.
