‘Inside Terrain Vague’ is another edition of the ongoing project series ‘Another Spot to Visit’, a collaboration between Sophie Staub and Roland Brauchli, through which they explore questions in design and art.
Expanding the idea of uneven ground and undefined spaces within the urban context to a more general reflection about the idea of an open state of possibilities and its role in the process of design, Sophie Staub and Roland Brauchli have curated an interior that invites the notion of an undomesticated open space inside.
Through a selection of designed objects, texts and images, the project ‘Inside Terrain Vague’ showcases independent designers and design critics from a wide range of disciplines such as urban design, illustration, textiles, paper, furniture and product and graphic design featuring work by Laetitia de Allegri, Mandy Brandan, Marlis Candinas, Fabien Capello, Designbutik, Michael Huebner, Paul Knight, Mickaël Marchand, Giles Round and others.
The opening reception takes place on 2 February with a sound performance by Network Ensemble, 6:30-8:30pm.
