Institut Français presents a screening of “A Woman’s Life”. Judith Chemla offers an unmissable performance in Stéphane Brizé’s compelling adaptation of Guy de Maupassant’s classic, Une vie. She plays Jeanne, a young woman full of childish dreams and innocence who marries fresh out of the convent. Her husband Julien soon reveals to be a miserly and unfaithful man. Little by little, Jeanne’s illusions are stripped away.
